How it works
Integration with Microsoft Word
Document Assembly integrates with Microsoft Word. When you open a blank document type that is supported by Document Assembly, you get a dialog box that asks what standard clauses you want to use.
Choose your clauses
You can pick some or all of the standard clauses. You can also insert the same clause multiple times. You can choose all the clauses first and then have Document Assembly write them into the document, or you can go clause by clause and preview the document as you build it on the fly.
Build the document

Save your file
The result is a word processing file, created automatically, which is consistent with all the other documents of that type you have produced. You can make any final edits you need, and then print and save the file at your discretion.
Data Field Fill Tool
Infoware's Data Field Fill Tool is an automated text insertion add-in for Microsoft Word that allows users to enter data for multiple fields cited in a document in a single window. As government and corporate forms are increasingly available electronically, users of the Data Field Fill tool can realize great benefits by combining existing firm data, networked resources and their existing productivity tools to reduce repetitive data entry and improve data quality.
The Data Field Fill tool recognizes "blank" data field delimiters such as:
- text surrounded by square brackets [ * ]
- text surrounded by chevrons « * »
- {formtext} fields in an unprotected document
- text formatted with the standard Infoware Word Extensions Prompt style
Summarizing all the points where the user would be "prompted" for information, the Data Field Fill tool allows users to quickly replace these marked locations with blocks of text. For example, a user could use the tool to insert party name and address information into corporate agreements. End-users also have the option to save commonly used data to a file for filling in future documents. For frequently used fields or for data fields which are related, the Data Field Fill tool also has the capability to prompt the user to select data from a pull-down list based on a table lookup.
