Document Assembly Q & A

If you are considering purchasing Infoware's Document Assembly Suite, the following post may address some of your questions about our solution:

Q: We use a standard desktop setup and any software needs to be "approved" before it can be added to the desktop. What files are deployed in this solution?

A: The Document Assembly tools include two .dll files that are signed and installed to the folder c:\program files\infoware. Two Word template files are also installed to the user's Startup Folder as set in Word "Options" menu.

Q: Where are the "Clauses" stored? Is this as simple as a shared drive, or is there more to it than that?

A: Clauses are stored in a specially formatted Word document that can be stored locally or (more commonly) saved to a shared network drive. User permissions can be applied to this file to determine who can access and alter the clause text.

Q: Is the online demo the only thing I can show my users?

A: For many firms, we will give live web-based demos of the product. Please contact us for details. Also if you are interested, we can also provide you with a limited-term demo edition.
