IT Consultant, life–time position

Responsibilities include providing on-site and phone support for a variety of networks, software, hardware and process-related computer issues. The successful candidate will assist users with application support and provide support for desktop and Backoffice server/backbone technologies.

Other responsibilities include:

• Project Management
• End-user training on applications & processes
• Technical Writing
• Product testing/evaluation
• Correspondence with clients

Applicants should have superior computer skills, however, a computer science degree is not required. Equally important are communication skills (written and oral) and the ability to interpret, understand and deliver to end-user requirements. The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving abilities.

Expert Knowledge in the following is required:

• MS Word & Outlook 2003
• Windows XP Pro

Proficiency in the following is required:

• Windows Vista
• MS Word & Outlook 2007
• Windows Server & Exchange 2003+
• Knowledge in ISA, SharePoint, SQL a plus
• LAN & WAN Technologies
• Server technologies, DNS, Backup, RAID, RAS, VPN, etc.
• Desktop & Notebook Network configuration
