- Setting your personal default City and Region for Affidavits and other sworn court forms.
Solution:
If you produce your own affidavits from Inform and would like to change the default City and Region information from the default firm settings to ones that reflect your address you can add 3 Autotext values to your Normal.Dot template. For information on adding Autotext please see Word help for Autotext.
The 3 Autotext entries your need to create are:
"Firm_City_InForm" This Autotext entry contains the city information. For example "City of Mississauga"
"Region_Long_Inform" This Autotext entry contains the region information used in the body of the affidavit. For example "in the Region of Peel,"
"Region_Short_InForm" This Autotext entry contains the region information used in the sworn block of the affidavit. For example "in the Region of Peel,"
Please note that you should not include a paragraph mark in any of the three autotext values as they are used in the middle of a sentence and a paragraph mark would break up the sentence.
To revert to the firm default values you need to remove the three entries from your Normal.dot template autotext list.
Troubleshooting - InForm
- Issue: User cannot edit or create a new profile from the InForm dialogue screen when creating a backer, factum, motion sheet or timetable.
Cause:
A form is being created which is based on a separate template to the rest of the form suite and the Make Profile/Review Profile option is disabled under those circumstances.
Resolution:
- Open another form which is not based on its own template and use the Make Profile/Review Profile button to create or edit the profile.
- If the profile already exists, navigate to the folder where the user’s profiles are stored and open the profile in question, review, make changes and save.
